In recent years, more and more Christians have come to appreciate the Bible's teaching that the ultimate blessed hope for the believer is not an otherworldly heaven; instead, it is full-bodied participation in a new heaven and a new earth brought into fullness through the coming of God's kingdom. Drawing on the full sweep of the biblical narrative, J. Richard Middleton unpacks key Old Testament and New Testament texts to make a case for the new earth as the appropriate Christian hope. He suggests its ethical and ecclesial implications, exploring the difference a holistic eschatology can make for living in a broken world.

Richard Abanes helps believers as well as the curious understand that Eckhart Tolle's message in A New Earth is dangerous. He then provides a clear biblical response to this New Age message. Topics include Tolle's misuse of Scripture, false teachings on God, the Bible's teaching on evil, A New Earth's version of salvation compared to God's plan, and much more.

In this book the author attempts to move beyond merely identifying and substantiating OT allusions in Revelation to considering how the presence of OT allusions and echoes affects reading Rev. 21.1-22.5 and how the OT functions within the context of the entire work. The author concludes that a variety of semantic effects are evoked by the author's continuous intertextual appeal to the OT: new creation, new exodus, new Jerusalem, new covenant, bridge, new temple-priesthood, paradise restored and renewed, inclusion of the nations, prophetic legitimization. The numerous allusions function to shape the reader's perception of eschatological hope.

There Is a Place You Can Go - That place is a New Earth free from sickness, crime, and war. The Earth is shifting to a higher vibration - from third density to fourth and fifth density. For you to survive on the New Earth you must also change your frequency to match that of the New Earth. Unless you make that change your body frequency will be incompatible with these new frequencies and you will have to leave. You have a choice, prepare to ascend or transfer to another third density planet. Ascension is available for those who choose to move out of duality consciousness into Unity Consciousness. Dr. Pettit explains some of the requirements and preparations needed to ascend from the Old Earth.

Dreaming a New Earth concerns itself with ultimate questions: the survival of humanity and planet earth. instead of proposing theoretical or political solutions, the book anticipates the birth of a new culture and civilisation through the path of dialogue with indigenous traditions. accordingly, this work highlights the wisdom of Indigenous Australian and Asian-Pacific peoples. In so doing, the western approach to reality, dominated by reason and theoretical analysis, is confronted with a more holistic vision in which the voice of the Spirit inspires dreams and sacred stories. Humanity is invited to re-experience the sacredness of nature and the mystery of existence. In short, we are called (in aboriginal parlance) to a "new Dreaming" or (according to the religious traditions) a radical conversion (metanoia) of mind, heart and soul. if there is to be genuine spiritual re-birth and cultural transformation in our paradoxically globalised and fractured world, we can no longer afford to ignore the ancient wisdom of primal cultures and indigenous traditions. Dialogue with earth-centred spiritualities and oral traditions is shown to be not only possible but, indeed, also crucial for our survival.Dreaming a New Earth also presents in a fresh way the mature insight of raimon Panikkar (1918-2010) whose original and creative contribution to religious and cultural dialogue is well recognised. his understanding of the dynamic interrelatedness of body (cosmic dimension), mind (consciousness dimension) and spirit (depth dimension) - what he calls the "cosmotheandric vision" - is shown to be clearly at play in the cultures of indigenous australians and other asian-Pacific peoples. In other language, Indigenous traditions teach us an often-forgotten lesson: the whole cosmos is sa

This book is made up of short articles, poems and stories that speculate on the future and seek to combine science with medicine and ideas which have always been regarded as belonging to religion or science fiction. The four short articles at the start (Gates> STARGATE, How to Create Universes, Building Doctor Whos TARDIS and Darwins Evolution Unifies Universe) give the reader a condensed view of the conclusions my reading and thinking led me to. They seem to help explain points in each other. After these four are written the steps taken since 1999 to arrive at my conclusions. They include short articles, poems, stories ... and some logic that is hard to follow because I couldnt explain myself well. As a result, its sometimes repetitious too ... but hopefully, all becomes clear in the end. Who wouldn't love to believe the things we see in the 'Star Trek" movies and TV programs are real? We could have warp speed, time travel, matter transporters, alien intelligences, a world without the worries of money, the creation of new planets, and so on. We'd have to move further ahead than the Star Trek years to find worldwide and universal peace, but I think all Trekkies would agree that Mr. Spock and his friends are slowly groping towards peace. Well, people tell me it's the 21st century. That's what my calendar says - but everywhere I look, people are behaving as if it's still the 20th century. Maybe they'll catch up to the calendar in 20 or 30 years. In the meantime, we'll pretend a new age has dawned - and we'll explore how the science of the early 1900s (represented by the theories of Albert Einstein) can be united with the entertainment of the late 1900s (represented by the phenomenon ofStar Trek). Amazingly; I read in a magazine about 10 years ago that Gene Roddenberry (Star Trek's creator) received information from an extraterrestrial civilization about the fantastic possibilities in the show. He then took these and created his inspiring, futuristic program. At the time, I thought this was nothing more than an interesting magazine article. It sounded like science fiction then, and it still sounds like sci-fi. But at the same time, I'm willing to believe he really did experience some kind of vision - something that suggests Star Trek deserves serious thought, and is more than the product of a wonderfully creative imagination. Do you remember the episode of 'Star Trek: The Next Generation" where a woman from a comparatively primitive planet was transported aboard the spaceship Enterprise, and was overwhelmed by the sight of her world shining among the stars? Captain Picard explained that he and his crew don't regard the woman and her kind as children. They are respected for who they are - people whose civilization just happens to be very young compared to that of Picard and his crew. In time, the woman's civilization will learn, and be able to do all the things that presently cause her to think of Picard as a god. The concept of God intrigues me because I believe its related to the nature of the universe. I believe everything in space and time is connected by infinitesimal pulses of energy that are many millions of times smaller than anything that even the most powerful microscopes can reveal (this is similar to the way everything on a computer screen is connected by pulses of electricity, and spacetime's energy pulses are the basic units constituting the

Is it too late to regenerate the earth? Call of the Reed Warbler shows the way forward for the future of our food supply, our Australian landscape and our planet. This ground-breaking book will change the way we think of, farm and grow food. Author and radical farmer Charles Massy explores transformative and regenerative agriculture and the vital connection between our soil and our health. It is a story of how a grassroots revolution – a true underground insurgency – can save the planet, help turn climate change around, and build healthy people and healthy communities, pivoting significantly on our relationship with growing and consuming food. Using his personal experience as a touchstone – from an unknowing, chemical-using farmer with dead soils to a radical ecologist farmer carefully regenerating a 2000-hectare property to a state of natural health – Massy tells the real story behind industrial agriculture and the global profit-obsessed corporations driving it. He shows – through evocative stories – how innovative farmers are finding a new way and interweaves his own local landscape, its seasons and biological richness. At stake is not only a revolution in human health and our communities but the very survival of the planet. For farmer, backyard gardener, food buyer, health worker, policy maker and public leader alike, Call of the Reed Warbler offers a tangible path forward for the future of our food supply, our Australian landscape and our earth. It comprises a powerful and moving paean of hope.
